If we go out on strike and Stellantis / HR enters a strike transaction code, then this is how your Company provided active benefits will be impacted.

  • If you leave work solely because of an authorized strike, your hospital, surgical, medical, prescription drug, vision, and hearing coverage will cease effective the end of the month in which the strike began. Dental coverage ceases effective the end of the month in which the strike transaction coded.
  • Your Company provided Group Life Insurance and Company provided Accidental Death will end effective at the end of the month strike began.
  • If you have a child currently using Orthodontic services, Delta Dental will not continue to make their monthly payments to the Orthodontist while your Delta Dental Benefits are cancelled at the end of the month of the Strike.  You may want to consider purchasing Cobra for Dental from Benefit Connect for Delta to keep making their payments. If not, you will be responsible to pay these missed payments directly to the Orthodontist. Benefit Connect Cobra Service Center # 877-292-6272.
  • If you currently have Optional Life Insurance on yourself, Dependent Life Insurance on Spouse or Dependent Life Insurance on Child you will want to speak with Benefit Connect about continuing to make these payments since the premiums won’t be coming out of your payroll check since we are out on Strike.  Benefit Connect # 888-409-3300.
  • If you currently have Volunteer Disability Insurance, you will want to speak with Benefit Connect to keep premiums updated do to Strike.  Benefit Connect # 888-409-3300.
  • If you currently have an outstanding loan with Merrill Lynch you will need to discuss with Merrill Lynch on keeping your loan payments updated do to strike.  Merrill Lynch # 800-483-7283
