đź“š DONATE BOOKS TO HELP LOCAL KIDS! đź“š
Details:
The nonprofit Very Early Childhood Education Center is in need of gently used children’s books to support their free monthly book bag program. Every month, they distribute over 650 books to children from birth to age 6, helping to build early literacy skills and foster a love of reading from the very start.
We need your help to build young children’s home libraries!
đź“– Books Needed Most:
- Infant hardback books
- Touch-and-feel books
- Bath time books
These types of books are in high demand and are the hardest to come by through donations.
đź“Ť How to Donate:
•Drop off books in the labeled donation box located in the KCP cafeteria.
• Bring donations to the Union Hall on Saturday, March 8th @ 9AM, during our Union Meeting — Copper Hoosier will be collecting the books at the hall.
Thank you for helping put books in the hands of our youngest readers and supporting early childhood literacy in our community!

Community Food Drive - March 1st - 31stHosted by Center Township Trustee’s Office Benefiting The Hand Up Food Pantry.
🍽️ Most Needed Items:
- Dry Cereal
- Pasta & Pasta Sauce
- Peanut Butter & Jelly
- Canned Veggies, Fruit & Beans
- Crackers
- Juice
- Granola & Cereal Bars
đź“Ť Drop-Off Locations:
- KCP Cafeteria - Drop off food anytime in the labeled donation box
- Union Hall - Saturday, March 8th during our Union Meeting — Copper Hoosier will be collecting donations
- Center Township Trustee’s Office (213 E. Jefferson St. - and make sure you mention Team 4 - it's an office competition!)
- Mon-Thurs: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
